  • Q: 1. What is Windows Password Killer?
    Windows Password Killer is designed to help you remove the passwords for you to log on to Windows, if your passwords are forgotten, lost or just unavailable. It removes the password safely and instantly, without any harm to the data stored on your computer. It helps avoid the reinstalling of the operating system as well. It has 3 editions for your choice. Lite and Pro editions can help you remove lost Windows administrator and user password while Ultimate edition allows you to reset lost Windows local and Domain administrator password.

  • Q: 2. What Windows versions does it support?
    All the 3 editions of Windows Password Killer are compatible with Windows 7/Vista/XP/2000 and Server 2003(R2)/2008(R2).

  • Q: 3. How does Windows Password Killer work?
    The core in Windows Password Killer to remove the password is the its ISO image file, which can only work based on a CD/DVD, USB Flash drive or floppy disk. If you have the program installed on your computer, it is automatically located on your installation folder. You burn it to a CD, then boot the locked computer from the CD, launch the program, locate the user name and proceed to remove the password. It is super easy to use.

  • Q: 4. What is ISO image file?
    ISO image file, if specifically to Windows Password Killer, is the core that it has the function to remove Windows passwords for you. It can only work based on a CD/DVD, USB Flash drive. So, you have to prepare a blank CD/DVD, a USB Flash drive o if you intend to remove the password with the ISO image file. The ISO image file is automatically located in your installation folder, if you have Windows Password Killer installed on your computer.

  • Q: 5. I'm scared of the command prompt, can I use your program?
    Yes. It won't be that difficult as you though for the command prompt. You don't have to do that many interactions, but to enter orders like yes, no, 1, 2, 3, etc. for the program to forward will be OK. Actually, the whole operation is as easy as a pie, if follow the step-by-step user guide on our site or the Help file in the program.

  • Q: 6. I can still login Windows with Guest account, can I use my computer to burn the CD?
    No. Guest account has very little privileges for the operation on the computer, and you are not allowed to burn CD with the Guest account. So, it's better to burn the CD with other computers.

  • Q: 7. My CD/DVD or USB flash drive contains data. What is going to happen if I burn the ISO image file with it?
    You will fail to burn the ISO image file onto the CD, if it contains data. So please make sure the CD is blank with no data. If you use a USB flash drive containing data to burn the ISO image file, you can burn it successfully. But the data on it will be lost. So please backup your data on the USB drive before Windows password recovery.

  • Q: 8. I failed to burn the CD/DVD, what's the problem?
    1. Please make sure whether your CD/DVD is blank or not. If it contains data, the burning won't success.
    2. Please make sure the optical drive a burner. If it is only a disk reader, it will refuse to do the burning.
    3. If the optical drive is a burner, please make sure it works fine.

  • Q: 9. I failed to burn a USB flash drive, what’s the problem?
    1. Please check whether your USB Flash drive is well connected to the computer.
    2. Please check whether your USB Flash drive works fine.
    3. Please check whether your computer USB port works fine.
    4. Please check whether your USB Flash drive is connected well during burning.

  • Q: 10. I created a user name with my own name, and used your program removed the password, which I thought it is the administrator's account. Is it right? How can I login Windows with the administrator's account in Windows XP?
    No. It's one of the user accounts that has some administrative privileges but still don't have the overall control of the computer with all the administrator's privileges. So, you have to remove the administrator's password with the Windows Password Killer. After the password is removed, reboot the computer. When the Welcome screen displays, press the key combination Ctr+Alt+Delete (Delete two times). In the pop-up Login Dialog Window, enter Administrator in the User name, and leave the password text box empty, click Go to log in your Windows with the administrator's account.

  • Q: 11. If I remove the password of my user account, does the user profile change?
    No. User profile contains many properties of the user account, and the password is only one of the many properties. So removing the password won't change the user account profile.
